The Best Stop Supermarket located in Scott, Louisiana is absolutely AWESOME. If you want good Louisiana food than you need to stop by or go online and get some of the very best authentic Cajun food around. We haven’t stopped here in over five years due to us moving out of state. This is the first time that we have came back to this area. So we had to stop in and do some shopping. And yes the food was AMAZING. We have dreamed about this food for a long time. We highly recommend The Best Stop Supermarket.

Amazing!

I can’t claim to know much about the local Louisiana food, but a local recommended The Best Stop as well as Billy’s.

They are both rated as some of the top spots for boudin. But, I have to say that The Best Stop has Billy beat. Their cheesy boudin ball will stay in my memory until fate brings me back.

Billy did have great Cracklin’ though. Try both and decide for yourself!

If you want to experience a Louisiana meat market, this is It! The name says it all. The cracklins are SUPERIOR! The boudin can only be described with a chef’s kiss and a tear shed in joy. This is where the locals go for stuffed chickens and roasts. Wide variety of other specialty meats and seafood.

The best boudin in Louisiana! Great people and great fresh meat and delicacies. Sausage, cracklings and so much more. Only thing they need community coffee ☕️ brewing for those early morning stops.

Amazing! Made my own sampler platter of Regular Boudin, Smoked Boudin, Boudin Ball, Cracklins, and Beef Jerky. Regular Boudin is awesome. Even better than Billy’s imo. But the Smoked Boudin is absolute perfection. There is literally nothing that could be improved upon. The Boudin Ball was delicious. The Cracklins were good but didn’t knock it out the park. The Beef Jerky is great. Smoky with a kick. The only downside I can name is the ordering inside is absolute chaos. People everywhere and there seems to be no rhyme or reason. I’ll definitely be back trying more from this great place!

Dorignac’s saved our Christmas this year !
We have had a tough year (like many).
We ordered the catered Christmas meal for our family.
They went above and beyond.
We had so much delicious food and for such a reasonable price !!
I highly recommend the catering and the store!
Wonderful to still have this local gem with such continued quality and heart!

Shopped here to get stuff I grew up with but can’t get in Georgia. We loved our experience there. Employees were great and selection was awesome. Very pleased to shop at a grocery that isn’t a cookie cutter national chain.

Love Dorignac’s!! Especially the bakery section! I can always stop there and get the perfect sweet tooth satisfaction. All the staff are wonderful and super helpful if you need anything while shopping. One of favorite places to make groceries!

If I could give this place zero stars I would,(yes this is one of those and why isn’t that an option lol). I was shopping at Dorignac’s and saw some bourbon that is hard to get. So I picked up 2 of each kind and called my father in law to see if he wanted any. While on the phone, this guy comes and takes one of each out of my basket and says limit of one of each kind. There was no sign stating a limit and previous experience with this type of purchase at this store has not had a limit on purchase either. When asked about this and stating there has never been a limit on these items before, he simply responded arrogantly “I am the owner and I can do what I want.” This I found strange because he didn’t have a name tag or a shirt with the Dorignac’s logo and I had never seen him before. However, upon research he is one of the owners. I guess he doesn’t work that often (Must be nice). This man clearly needs a lesson on customer service. If he treats customers this way, I am sure he treats employees the same or worse. After this experience, I refuse to purchase anything from this place again. I would prefer and recommend spending your money at other local grocery stores that appreciate and value their customers. If Dorignac’s was the only store with the ingredients available for my favorite dish, I would learn to cook something else. Yes, it was that bad!

It’s a nice large store. Very clean. They can be a little pricey. But they have great sales. They have handicap parking places. I’m not sure if they have a public bathroom or not. The employees were all very nice. Always smiling and friendly. They have a large parking lot.

Big thanks to Carla Thibodeaux in the seafood dept. She went above and beyond to give me amazing customer service. She even called me back to tell me I had the sale date wrong 😃 it would start the next day. The next day she called again to ask what time I would arrive so she can have my boiled crabs hot and ready. Best service ever thanks Carla.
