There’s nothing wrong with Apple products, but I don’t understand why they have stores if they aren’t going to help customers.
There is no organization, if you want to buy something you have to hope an associate decides to help you. No queues or ticketing system, it’s a free for all trying to get help. I saw many people get help before we did, even though they came in after us. Left and purchased elsewhere.
If you like hunger games style shopping experiences, you may enjoy shopping here.
By Jason Loehnert (7 months ago)I looked over the reviews before choosing this location. Contrary to what I read, I was in and out pretty fast. I made an appointment the day before going into the Apple Store. Once there, I was greeting by the person who signs you in (I forgot his name, but he’s from San Diego). Shortly after I was greeted by a tech named Daniel. Both the reps I dealt with were very friendly, very professional and very knowledgeable. I’m glad I didn’t allow the bad reviews deter me from going. I’m sure what the wait time is for walk in appointments. But if I need to go back to the store I’m definitely going to make an appointment. Good job guys and gals!By Ramond Calvert (2 weeks ago)Had a very good experience at this store on a Saturday. Delia, who worked with us, was a delight and helped my 80 y.o. father and I look at iPhones for him and my mom. She did an outstanding job answering our questions and was just excellent working with two different generations and being so kind and professional. Walked right in, no appointment and was helped immediately.By Karen Cannon (2 weeks ago)Walked into the store to purchase an item. Didn’t really need help just needed the item and to check out. Was told after the rep took all the product info from me that she could not check me out because I didn’t have an appointment, and they would not have another opening until the next day. I asked her if she was joking. She said no that they didn’t have enough people to help everyone there. AS I WAS BEING HELPED BY HER. Absolutely ridiculous. So basically she had time to get my info, the exact product I needed, but could not go get the item and ring it up. This is a brick and mortar store, not an appointment only office. If that’s the case, don’t be in a mall. Horrible management and customer service. DO NOT GO HERE.By Lisa Alvarez-Grindle (7 months ago)Me and my mom went to this store. I went to get a new phone and my mom went for a broken phone. I was helped by one of the manager and a sell rep they were great but the person who helped my mom was Josh he was the worst. He replaced my mom’s phone but after he did it he bother to help her set up the phone, he deleted all her information without asking her if she knew her password or not. He erased all her information, and now she’s unable to log into her Apple account because he was reckless and walked out without asking her if she needs any assistance. Now we have to wait for 13 days for them to reset everything. I know times are hard and it’s hard to find good worker but they should better train him and any other employees that have done something similar. They need to make sure they train them better. I like Apple products but if you are looking for good service went it comes to replacing a phone that is broken do not go to this store at all it was my first time going there and I will never go again. I would rather go to the one in Scotsdale because they offer more customers service. I work in customer and I never want to be the one to do a bad review I am doing it because my experience was not great and let me very frustrated. Please better train your employees.By ami kabah (a month ago)

I wouldn’t recommend that anyone buys a MacBook Air or Pro M1 (2020). I’m a 19 year old finance major at Grand Canyon. Yesterday I opened my MacBook Air and in the bottom right corner the screen is broken. I was shocked, I was horrified, I was in shambles. I purposefully place my MacBook on top of my dresser under my bed to make sure nothing happens to my $1,000 product, however I wasn’t protective enough. Now I have to pay $650 dollars for something I didn’t do, so I assumed I could goto an Apple Store and they would understand the issue and the trillion dollar company would take a loss for their error, but once again I was wrong. The manager heard me out but to no avail. All of this to say if you’re a college student that simple doesn’t have another $650 I wouldn’t buy a MacBook Air or Pro (2020) because you might end up like me. Please if you’re in college do not make the same mistake I did, trusting a $1,000 product to be flawless, Apple would say this is all the more reason to buy apple care, contrary I believe we should take a step back on Apple as a company entirely. This situation has taught me to take a company’s ethics seriously. Objectively viewing the situation, a child in China made my computer, a money hungry sales men sold it to me, and now they don’t want to take responsibility. Apple Scottsdale, honestly gave me a chance but simply couldn’t help me because of company policy allegedly.
All in all Apple doesn’t stand behind their product and I won’t either.
By Marshall Jebb (5 months ago)Shoutout the Quentin and Aubrey for helping us out today! My boyfriend picked up his new phone and I finalized my trade in with him. Super friendly and helpful. Made the whole process easy for us. By far the Apple Store with the BEST customer care.By Ada O (4 months ago)They were quick and were able to help me with my mac, they just don’t do in store repair so if that’s what you’re looking for then be wary! However they did offer to replace my keyboard along with my battery so that’s a plus. Overall good experienceBy Brennan Edwards (2 months ago)Went in to get my phone fixed, the first thing I told both the people helping me is my phone won’t charge, they picked something out and it charged. So they ran a diagnosis on my phone to fix my camera which is great. Got that taken care of. Got to my car neither of my cords charged my phone which used to work on my phone. Went back and their cord charged my phone … okay so that’s weird. Got home used my Apple charger STILL does not charge. The lady helping me with my phone about the charging issue had attitude and was super rude. Needless to say I left with a phone that won’t charge and no help. Terrible.By Hailey Hartwig (5 months ago)Unfortunately, I have seen Apple going down, but coming to the point where they refuse to check a damaged laptop by walking in and asking you to schedule an appointment for next week? Wth? Huge disappointment, but I’m glad it’s not my laptop. I would never buy a product that the company doesn’t provide immediate support. Oh yeah, if you need immediate support, you can chat with one of the costumer service, what a joke.By Ensuel Kola (4 months ago)

Loved the people here. They were so respectful and listened out to the issue I had. The devices are placed in a orientation that is easy to learn as soon as you arrive and look around. Tons of apple employees walking around, so if you were interested in a product, just find one of them and ask about it! The appointment system is really nice, as when you walk in, if it seems that you may need help, someone will walk up to you and will ask. Went here for a genius bar appointment and was shocked by the amazing customer service that they gave.By Steven Shreve (a week ago)Not a typical retail shopping store but definitely an experience. La Encantada is a very nice outdoor shopping center (mall) with several high end stores like Coach, Crate and Barrel, Lululemon, Tiffany and more. We thought it was confusing to find the Apple Store but it was our first time in the area. The store is on the lower level (I think all the parking is on the upper level?). There is an escalator toward the center of the shops, so go down and then the Apple Store is straight ahead about 3 stores on the right. The store itself was very sleek and clean. We did not have an appointment and if you have questions, I would definitely recommend making an online appointment. We were just looking for an accessory and we’re pointed in the right direction. The staff all seemed very knowledgeable and helpful to those people who had appointments and could answer quick questions from us. There are lots of Apple electronics on display and accessories and cases toward the back of the store. We live south of Tucson so it is a hike to get there but it seems to be the only actual Apple Store in the area.
When we want to go again, I would make an appointment, would leave more time to shop in the other stores and top it off with dinner or entertainment at the Gaslight Music Hall.By Lorrie Snodgrass (2 months ago)My android died, I needed a phone fast. I went to an AT&T store only to learn I could not buy a phone outright, I could only buy a phone on a promotion and pay monthly and get locked into a 5G unlimited plan. So I went to this store and Samantha helped me. She was so kind and helpful, I truly appreciated her knowledgeable help. I was in and out quickly.
Update: Nothing against this store but I am trading in the iPhone 13 pro max for a Samsung. The iPhone 13 pro max doesn’t do basic things that my 6 year old Samsung device could do. Don’t get sucked into the fantasy that apple is the best, it is not.By Red Lazer (4 months ago)I’ve been shopping at this Apple Store for 13+ years and have always been satisfied with the staff and product selection. But the 3, instead of 5 star rating reflects my judgement that the retail space is too small, making it cramped and easily crowded; and it’s been this way since I first visited the store while on vacation in February of 2010. I was living on the East coast at the time and within 50 miles of 3 Apple stores that were at least 3-times as large as Tucson’s. It was the smallest Apple Store I’d ever visited, and 13 years later it’s the same size, in the same location, and it remains Tucson’s only Apple Store, compared to Greater Phoenix with at least 5 Apple-owned stores. I assume Apple’s analysis of customer demographics, sales, and various other indicators serve to justify maintaining the status quo, but as one of the wealthiest companies in the world, Apple can afford a bigger store or even a second Tucson store.By Stephen Gaarder (2 weeks ago)Dropped my phone off for a battery repair. After 2 diagnostic evaluations on my phoneI was told it would ready in 4 hours. I came in the next day to find out they didn’t replace the battery due to moisture exposure, but were ready to sell me a new phone. I asked why they didn’t email or call me and was told we don’t do that for repairs. 1 star for lack of communication and the lack of respect for one’s time. Next time a simple call will do.By George Romero (a month ago)
